PERAZIM BUSINESS SOLUTIONS LIMITED WINS GRAND PRIZE IN ZICB’S 2023 ‘LET’S MAKE BIG WINS HAPPEN’ CAMPAIGN

Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank (ZICB) is proud to announce Perazim Business Solutions Limited as the grand prize winner of the “Let’s Make Big Wins Happen” campaign, which was conducted last year. This initiative, aimed at rewarding loyal customers, exemplifies ZICB’s commitment to supporting businesses and individuals who actively engage with the Bank. Perazim Business Solutions Limited, a consultancy firm with a focus on human resource management, won a cutting-edge solar energy solution. The prize package, which includes an inverter, battery, and solar panels, is worth K75,000 and is set to transform the business, especially in the face of Zambia’s current intermittent power supply. With 10 employees based in Lusaka, the company, founded by Ansley Chigomba, specializes in providing HR solutions to various sectors. Reflecting on the win, Mr. Chigomba expressed his gratitude and excitement, emphasizing how the solar solution will alleviate the burden of load shedding, which has lately been a challenge for many businesses in Zambia. “This prize could not have come at a better time. With load shedding affecting our operations, this solar energy solution will allow us to continue working without disruptions, which will in turn improve our service delivery and productivity,” he said. Perazim Business Solutions Limited was established to address key challenges in human resource management, offering consultancy services that focus on talent acquisition, training and development, and employee performance management. As a growing business, Perazim prides itself on delivering tailored solutions to both small and large organizations, fostering long-term partnerships and contributing to the development of Zambia’s workforce. ZICB has consistently demonstrated its support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through various initiatives, including the ‘Let’s Make Big Wins Happen’ campaign. The campaign, which ran from September to December last year, rewarded customers who maintained a minimum balance in their accounts with exciting prizes, from solar lighting kits to fuel and shopping vouchers. Perazim’s grand prize of a solar energy solution is just one example of how ZICB is helping businesses embrace sustainable solutions while growing their enterprises. Through this initiative and many others, ZICB reaffirms its commitment to the growth of Zambia’s SME sector, recognizing the vital role that small businesses play in the economy. ZICB continues to tailor its products and services to meet the unique needs of SMEs, offering access to finance, expert guidance, and opportunities for growth. As Perazim Business Solutions Limited celebrates this success, ZICB looks forward to seeing more success stories from its customers through the WINA NA ZICB Campaign, running from September to December 2024. ZICB remains dedicated to creating a competitive future for businesses across the country. For more information about ZICB’s campaigns and how your business can participate, call us on 7000.

ZICB EXPLORES GREEN FINANCE OPPORTUNITIES WITH FCDO

ZICB had a productive dialogue with representatives from the London Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). The discussion focused on strategically integrating nature-based solutions, such as green infrastructure and sustainable land use practices, into our environmental and financial strategies. Key takeaways include the potential to enhance climate resilience, promote biodiversity, and support sustainable economic growth through these initiatives. The FCDO expressed strong interest in how incorporating these green assets aligns with broader environmental and financial objectives. This conversation also opened avenues for exploring support towards issuing a green bond, furthering our commitment to environmentally responsible finance. ZICB is excited about the opportunity to attract environmentally conscious investments, reinforcing our role as a leader in green finance. We remain dedicated to driving sustainability and championing climate-friendly economic growth for a greener future.
