Government Bonds are long-term debt securities issued by the Government of Zambia through the Bank of Zambia (BoZ) to finance development projects and manage public debt. These bonds have the following: 2, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 15 years. Investors receive a fixed interest (coupon) every 6 months and the face value at maturity. Bonds are currently issued at par value and are ideal for investors seeking stable returns over time. The minimum investable amount is ZMW 1,000.00.
