We are honoured to have been the main sponsor of the official renaming ceremony of Longacres Mall to KK Mall, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Dr Kenneth Kaunda’s birth.
ZICB’s contribution to this significant event is a fitting tribute to Zambia’s founding father.
Our CEO, Mr. Ngenda Nyambe, together with the ZICB management team, attended the ceremony, which was graced by Hon. Rodney Sikumba, Minister of Tourism.
In his speech, Mr. Nyambe paid tribute to Dr Kaunda, recognising him as a visionary leader and champion of unity, whose legacy continues to inspire the values that define our nation.
He also urged every Zambian to live by the motto “One Zambia, One Nation,” and to safeguard the peace and unity that have been the foundation of our nation since independence.
ZICB would like to acknowledge the Kaunda family, the Public Service Pension Fund, the National Museum Board, and Brandline Africa for their collaborative efforts in making this event a resounding success.
